For many years now, Bob double strollers have been at the forefront of the stroller market. With quality unmatched (and sometimes a price that is equally unchallenged!) it is truly in a class of itself. Price aside, it does not really have too many features you cannot find on other double baby strollers. The Bob double jogging stroller range is one example of the outstanding quality that cohesion and consistency can provide. So while it is not breakthrough material in any one particular category, the fact that all things just go so well together to provide the best strolling experience for parent and baby says a lot about the thinking behind these double strollers.
With rear brakes that are properly calibrated providing excellent security and control for the parent, the Bob double strollers are certainly at the top of the list as far as security concerns go. With strollers like the Bob Duallie and Bob Duallie Revolution, the frame is quite slim for its perceived size. One positive thing I would like to mention that may go unnoticed is that the seats are somewhat separated by a little wall, and this is great for about the forty percent of kids that do not like to be strapped in within an inch or two of each other (which other manufacturers resort to to make a slimmer frame), because they won’t be feeling uncomfortable in the Bob double jogging stroller they’re in, and they do indeed feel that they each has their own space.
The sun canopies protect from the obvious weather concerns such as harmful UV rays emanating from above and basic rain protection. You will still need to purchase a plastic rain protector for heavy conditions that the canopies (which can be adjusted separately!) will not be able to deal with. The fram is only 31 inches wide, which is great for shopping trips and being able to easily squeeze past shop entrances and so on. The handlebars are curved for a comfortable push over many hours (or jog!) and the babies or toddler and baby are safely strapped in with five point harnesses in most Bob double strollers.
