Double Prams

For the parent with 2 children, a double pram is definitely on the shopping list. If you have been blessed with twins or simply have 2 small children of different ages, the double pram you purchase will allow easy and enjoyable (well, let’s discuss this a bit later on a bit more!) trips outdoors and for shopping and so on.

Look for frames on twin prams that fold easily. You will want to be able to quickly collapse and reconstruct your double stroller or double baby pram easily to save your own frustration and stop the crying that your babies or toddlers will initiate after a few seconds of waiting. Believe me, it happens! So look for an easily observable mention about easy folding. If possible, look for single hand folding as this will come in handy; you will be put into situations where you are holding your baby girl in one hand and need to set up your baby double pram quite quickly! Also look for the wieght limits. A lot of double prams won’t allow for more than about 65 pounds of combined weight of the kids, with the bag storage areas and additional pockets being able to carry extra weight, of course.

This is not the last thing to look out for, though. A lot of parenting magazines recommend 5-point harnesses for the most secure riding conditions for your babies, and I do agree with this view wholeheartedly. The best double prams will allow you to not only do this but also have padded push bars for you to easily control and push the pram for hours on end.
