For parents who are constantly on the go and moving around, a double jogger stroller is probably in order. Ever since exercise and parenting has been had to be juggled by modern and traditional parents, the dilemma of involving baby boys and girls has been an issue. Fitting everything into today’s busy schedule does not bode well for a lot of mothers and fathers, and this is where the baby jogger double stroller came in.
The jogger stroller for twins or 2 children of different ages generally has a few things that separate it from the normal double strollers. One of these is the single front wheel. Where regular double stroller models will have four wheels — 2 at the back and the same number at the front of the stroller — the double jogger stroller has a single front wheel in most cases for easy movement and to turn corners and such as easily as moving it slowly.
Safety is also a big issue when running or jogging with your double stroller, so generally a 4- to 6-point harness is required for extra security. In some extreme cases the double jogger strollers can even overturn if you suddenly come to a stop and cannot hold onto the stroller. In this case, because the canopy is usually fairly sturdy, the ground will only come within about 10 inches of your babies; plenty of room for them to still feel comfortable as you come for help. They won’t fall out of their comfortable seats thanks to their great harness. All in all, with safety concerns and easy folding mechanisms and so on, double jogger strollers are the hot thing right now for active parents.
