For many parents and professional baby product reviewers like myself, the Combi double stroller range is synonymous with quality and sturdiness. Rarely will you get a ‘lemon’ — a faulty or less than perfect stroller that you need to return after a few months — the quality testing at Combi is simply outstanding. Some long-time favorites include the Twin Sport double stroller that has a plethora of useful features that really put it in another league to the rest of its competition’s double strollers.
Most combi double strollers weigh in at less than 30 pounds; in fact, the Twin Sport is only a 25-pound baby itself! It is also compatible with infant car seats provided by Combi, making it one of the few side by side double strollers that can function as a double stroller travel system. This itself makes it a great purchase, as there is room for upgrade later if you see the need to transport babies quietly from stroller to car very easily.
Combi double strollers come with padded pushing bar for mom or dad to easily maneuver the stroller through a variety of areas such as shopping malls, and outside in general for hours at a time. So, parent is comfortable for long periods of pushing, but is baby? Yes, with seats that recline to multiple angles and cup holders for both occupants and parent as well, everybody should be happy. The only downside I see is that you may need to purchase an additional rain and weather protector. Sometimes the one that comes with the Combi double strollers are just not very good.
