Mountain Buggy Double Stroller

The Mountain Buggy Urban Double Duo 2010 stroller is a revision of one of the most popular double strollers ever built. Currently, the Mountain Buggy Double stroller has had some design input from its now-current owners, Phil and Teds, and a lot of parents now feel that the mix between style, function and aesthetics is a perfect cross. The Mountain Buggy Urban Elite double stroller is an all purpose stroller, and is constructed from high-density aluminium / aluminum. It does cost a pretty penny, but has some great features that may just grab your attention.

For instance, one of the things that sets the Mountain Buggy duo stroller apart is its well made and very narrow and slim (less than 75 centimeters wide!) frame. It also includes a swivel front wheel for easy movement and enjoyable strolling for both occupants (babies and toddlers) and you — mom, dad, grandma, etc. The seats are independently reclining, which is suitable for a mixture of toddler and baby to sit or lie. It is only 16.5 kilograms heavy which is even lighter than the previous model. The handle is adjustable, so if you’re a particularly tall woman with a shorter husband for instance, you’ll be able to push it as well as he and neither will feel discomfort as long as you quickly changes the handle height (it takes 2 seconds, really) before starting your walk. The quick release wheels are a great security feature, and the bottle holder is not a plastic one that will rattle, it is made of fabric. The break is foot operated, which may not be as popular as the hand brake but it does enough to provide that function.

I particularly like the pretty large storage baskets underneath the side by side seats. You can easily carry your shopping bags here without any loss of stability or control to the pusher. On this note, the bars and handles are also padded which make for a wonderful strolling session for the parent. Furthermore, the canopy over the seats are adjustably independent of each other, which is great for that toddler/baby mix that some parents may need when going out. The folding action is easy enough on the Mountain Buggy Double Stroller, with a one-hand mechanism one of the easiest I’ve ever seen. The material and padding is easily washed. The rear wheel suspension on the Mountain Buggy Duo Elite stroller is on-point. I mean, I didn’t have to think about it at all; that’s essentially the best type of stroll — an uneventful one — where nothing about the actual double baby stroller is memorable!
